Your Card, Dates and Region

If you are unsure, check your statement to confirm it is an ASB Visa Platinum Rewards card.

Other approved methods are taking a cash advance from you Platinum card account on the same day that you pay pre paid deposits from another ASB account or redemption of your True Rewards Dollars. You can also answer yes if you won your return travel tickets in a prize draw.

We use this to verify your card type.

Do you hold a return ticket for your trip?

You must hold a return travel ticket to be eligible for cover. Separate one way bookings departing from and returning to New Zealand are considered to be return travel tickets, even if they are booked separately.

This is the date you are scheduled to depart from New Zealand. If you are traveling domestically prior to your international departure, do not include domestic travel days.

This is the date you are scheduled to arrive in New Zealand, not the date you board your flight. If you are traveling domestically following your arrival in New Zealand, do not include domestic travel days. Ensure you consider time differences/zones and travel times as you might land on a different date to when you boarded your international flight.

Which regions will you be visiting for more than three consecutive days, while travelling overseas?
